Anyone here like rollercoasters? Whats your favorite and why? Any funny stories (like being sick on ride, ect)?
If you don't, why not? Did something happen or just scared to go on them?

I used to be terrified of them but this past summer I went to kings island about 8 times and went on each one! Now, I'm addicted to them. My favorite at kings island is Diamondback because it has a vertical drop and goes 80mph. Fastest at that park.

I also went to cedar point last summer and love milinium force! It was about twice the size of diamondback! It had awesome views of the lake and was really fast. I've never been sick on any of them, and plan to go back to ride top thrill dragster. Fast coaster in america - 120mph!!

Here's a question that may not get answered, but it's technically not homework. It's just a phrase that was mentioned in passing in one of my articles and has nothing to do with anything I'm doing, I think.

Anybody familiar with the term "genetic essentialism?" What does that mean?

Amazingly enough, eh? It's coming along pretty easily, too. The new story will be called "Conversations with My Father," and it will take John from the night before he lost Paula and Emily to Susan's birth. The title comes from the fact that one of the main features of the story will be John talking to his father, Thomas, as his life hits turning points.

I'm turning 19 tomorrow, so excuse me for the birthday-related questions.


1. What special thing do you think one should do when it's her birthday? I'm fishing for ideas here, because I haven't really planned out my day tomorrow apart from some shopping, and having dinner at home with my family. But to me, that doesn't quite sound like I'm making my day special. ( short backstory )

2. Does anyone here celebrate half-birthdays, ala Silver of '90210'? I'm considering celebrating mine (refer to backstory) and I was wondering if you guys know how that one works out.

Do any of you plan to read the book coming out by Sarah Palin, "Going Rogue"?
